Now, UK’s leading personal stylist and colour analysis experts, House of Colour, will create up to 100 new jobs with plans to expand their franchise stores to the masses.

House of Colour, who were awarded the SME News UK Enterprise Award for Personal Stylists of the Year 2019, hope to increase their franchise stores to 200 over the next five years, bringing in 100 new employees to their bases across the UK.

“It is a difficult economic environment for many businesses but luckily we have been growing in tandem with the burgeoning lifestyle and health industries,” Helen Venables, Managing Director of House of Colour said. “We offer a potentially high-income business model with several lucrative income streams including colour analysis, styling, make up classes and over 350 make up products.  We have been attracting new franchisees who want to be ambitious business builders, whilst still maintaining a good work/life balance.”

Since 1985, House of Colour have given personal styling and colour analysis to hundreds of customers, employing contemporary, entrepreneurial colour and style consultants across the country. House of Colour’s unique concept has attracted dozens of new franchisees all over the world. Over the past 12 months, House of Colour has gained 18 new UK-based franchises and 13 in the US. In addition, revenue from UK franchisee have increased by 12% since last year. House of Colour have also partnered with Park Lane Jewellery, releasing new products under their name to their customers as they continue to grow and expand their thriving business.

“The creation of discovery days, both at HQ in Watford and across the country, have been a huge success by allowing potential franchisees to meet the team and receive more information about the business,” Helen added. “Our marketing has also been stronger than ever which is vital in this financial climate and new data collection technology has been brought in to better serve the clients with clothing recommendations.”

House of Colour holds rigorous professional training for all franchisees, ensuring they learn all the important skills and knowledge to help them succeed in their business. These include colour analysis, the language of clothes, the psychology of styling, dressing for real life, why image is still important, capsule wardrobe, a fascinating personality assessment, the history of dressing and full marketing training to support successful launch and growth of a House of Colour business.

Franchises cost £12,000 inc. VAT with a monthly service fee of £150 VAT in order to purchase a base in a designated exclusive region with a population of at least 100k people. Franchisees will be provided with a flexible start-up programme, enabling stylists to start in their home, have a small shop, or operate as part of a beauty salon.
