WorkBuzz reveal winners of this year’s Best Franchise Awards

The Football Fun Factory and My Window Cleaner were just two of the brands to emerge victorious at this year’s WorkBuzz Best Franchise Awards.

The Football Fun Factory secured the honours in the category titled ‘Best New Entry’, while My Window Cleaner collected the gong in the ‘Best Franchise Business-to-Consumer’ section. The other successful brands were Tezlom, The Creation Station and Molly Maid.

This year’s WorkBuzz Awards was staged last week, with the winners unveiled during the British Franchise Association’s (BFA) annual conference. The 2023 gathering, which also included a gala dinner, was held at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.

List of Franchise Winners for 2023 were:

The Football Fun Factory (New Entry);
Tezlom (Business-to-Business);
My Window Cleaner (Business-to-Consumer);
The Creation Station (Children’s Services);
Molly Maid (Management).

Now in its 12th year, and sponsored by Lloyds Bank, the annual awards ceremony recognises the UK’s leading franchises across a range of categories. The final results are based on feedback from thousands of franchisees.

Regarding the collecting of data, each franchisee completes a confidential online form, titled the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark Survey.

This form asks franchisees to rate their franchisor on a number of topics. These include: initial training, ongoing support, their relationship with the franchisor, and whether they would recommend the franchise to a prospective franchisee.

The ‘Best New Entry’ gong, which this year was won by The Football Fun Factory, was open to franchisors who were participating in these awards for the first time.

Steven Frost, the chief executive and founder of WorkBuzz said: “Congratulations to the winners and finalists. This year we witnessed record levels of franchisee satisfaction and a more competitive field. What makes these awards unique is that they draw upon actual feedback from thousands of franchisees.

“Their opinions provide valuable insights that benefit franchisors, while enhancing their network. We look forward to continuing the recognising of excellence in the franchising industry in the years to come.”

WorkBuzz has been in business since 2011, and their website says: ‘Our mission is to help organisations create cultures where every voice matters and every person can be their best.’

Their message to bosses is this: ‘We help you gather real-time feedback from your people and track employee wellbeing which allows you to make more informed data-driven people decisions.’

Suki Dehal, the franchise development manager for Lloyds Banking Group, added: “Once again, we are delighted to support and sponsor WorkBuzz with the Best Franchise Awards. It’s been great listening to franchisors passionately explain how their brands have blossomed during the last 12 months.

“To see how the event has grown in stature over the years is testament to the work done by the team at WorkBuzz. The feedback gleaned from the survey has been invaluable for franchise brands.”

About the Franchise Satisfaction Benchmark (FSB): Overseen by WorkBuzz, the FSB invites existing franchisees to participate in a confidential online survey which asks them 32 questions about their franchise ownership experience. The brand is assigned an overall FSB score. The highest performing franchisors are recognised at the Best Franchise Awards, sponsored by Lloyds Bank. The final result is based on feedback from thousands of franchisees.
