Four leading homecare franchises unite to launch Homecare’s Got Talent

This exciting competition aims to celebrate the extraordinary individuals who dedicate their lives to caring for others, showcasing talents that extend far beyond their professional roles.

Homecare’s Got Talent invites homecare workers from across the UK to display their diverse talents, whether it’s singing, dancing, juggling, acting, miming or even cheese-eating. If you run a homecare business, you can register your carers to participate at www.homecaresgottalent.co.uk

“We know that homecare workers are some of the hardest working and most talented people in social care,” said Dan Archer, UK CEO of Visiting Angels. “It’s crucial to ensure that they are recognised, and HCGT is a great way to ensure recognition for carers across the entire sector.”

“When you support people in their own home, you need to think fast and utilise sometimes remarkable talents to best support the people that you care for. We want to recognise their talents beyond caregiving and truly celebrate what makes our carers unique.”

Over the next four months, HCGT will conduct regional judging in London, Yorkshire, Greater Manchester and Scotland. Homecare workers showcasing exceptional talent will advance to the national final, competing for a grand prize package, including £1,000 in cash, an all-inclusive holiday for two, an exclusive opportunity to meet an esteemed panel of judges and a chance to perform live in front of thousands.

“At Radfield Home Care, we’re thrilled to be a part of HCGT,” said Alex Green, Managing Director. “We can’t wait to see the amazing things that our nation’s brilliant care professionals have to show everyone. It’s so important to take every opportunity to celebrate care professionals who work hard every day to make other people’s lives better.”

A panel of judges, including some exciting household names, will review the incredible videos submitted by homecare workers nationwide. Selected contestants will move on to the regional finals, held conveniently in the North, Midlands and South of England.

“I’m super excited to be part of the HCGT initiative,” said Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO and Founder of Walfinch. “This is about celebrating care workers and all of those within the sector that make a huge change to the lives of millions of people. I’m thrilled to be able to showcase how much fun we have in homecare.”

“At Sylvian Care, we know homecare professionals excel in their dedication to caring for others,” said Co-CEO Cristina Grancea. “But beyond their exceptional caregiving skills, they possess a wealth of hidden talents. Join us in celebrating these remarkable individuals through HCGT and discover the extraordinary in the everyday.”

So, caregivers, do you have a talent that could light up the stage? Don’t delay – submit your performance today and let your star shine brighter than ever before! Send a short video showcasing your talent via the website or on WhatsApp to 07510 928923.
