Dream Doors unveil ‘fantastic new tool’ to help UK customers plan their next kitchen

Northamptonshire franchise launches online video to assist new and returning customers

Brackley-based franchise Dream Doors has launched an online video that outlines the ease with which potential customers can select their new kitchen. Those clicking-in for a demonstration will watch a video that highlights the simplicity of installing a top-quality Dream Doors’ kitchen.

This newly-released video illustrates the journey which a customer will take, from the initial enquiry, right through to the planning and installation phase. The video lasts less than four minutes, and is one of a series of new digital tools designed to help customers who visit the brand’s website.

Director of franchise recruitment at Dream Doors, Alex Waite, said: “This is another fantastic new tool to help potential customers see the transparency with which our brand operates.

“Some people – particularly elderly homeowners – are worried about engaging with home improvement companies. They’re frightened of the ‘hard sell’, unreliable tradespeople and having strangers in their homes.

“But that is the polar opposite of how our franchisees treat customers and, hopefully, this video conveys that message as well. This particular video takes a customer through the various steps, from making an initial enquiry, through to planning and installation.

“It shows how the company can remove the stress and uncertainty that surrounds large home improvement projects. As a company, we have already successfully completed over 100,000 projects nationwide.”

And Alex, who joined Dream Doors in 2006, added: “This production is part of a much larger learning and development project that we started last year.

“We’re investing tens-of-thousands into a series of videos that will not only help customers in their decision-making process, but will also offer training and coaching to all of our franchisees and their staff.

“With almost 1,000 people earning a living through Dream Doors, it’s important we give them the support they need in their respective roles.

“This, in turn, ensures we maintain our reputation for providing a premium service. Continued learning and development is the key to this. And when people watch our videos, they will hopefully understand the benefits of dealing with a locally-owned franchised business.”

Established in 1999, Dream Doors has grown throughout the UK and is now a member of Neighbourly’s global network. American-owned Neighbourly is the world’s largest parent company of home services’ brands. It is also a member of the British Franchise Association (BFA).

Dream Doors has almost 100 showrooms across the UK, with only 20 available territories remaining. There is also a small number of existing businesses up-for-sale. The company has a 9.7 out of 10 rating on independent website Checkatrade. This figure is based on over 24,000 reviews.
