Global fitness franchise joins forces with OliveX and is available for users of The Sandbox.

Fitness giants TRIB3 are going ‘virtual’ after signing a ground-breaking deal with OliveX. Founded in 2019, OliveX is a digital health and fitness company delivering user experiences through the world of gamification.

By announcing this landmark deal, TRIB3 have become the first major gym to launch a virtual product in the video-game arena established by The Sandbox. In collaboration with ‘fitness metaverse’ company OliveX, TRIB3 will provide high intensity digital workouts, available to users of The Sandbox.

In recent years TRIB3 has built a renowned global reputation for offering ‘high-intensity interval training’ (HIIT) at their collection of boutique workout studios in a number of countries. TRIB3 offers instructor-led 45-minute workouts, involving treadmills, resistance training and intensity. 

Those who tread the TRIB3 path can expect to burn up to 1,000 calories per session. Progress and health is tracked using real-time heart rate monitors and in-studio displays, while TRIB3 have introduced their own state of the art ‘sweat app.’

The company’s international portfolio spans eight global territories including the UK, Spain and Finland. They are a one-of-a-kind fitness franchise brand, offering an ultimate group workout, underpinned by ever-evolving technology.

TRIB3‘s chief executive, Kevin Yates, is delighted to unveil the company’s partnership with OliveX, saying: “It’s a landmark opportunity for our brand and our sector, and we are proud to be grabbing it with both hands. It will see us fuse the TRIB3 design and brand, with OliveX‘s experience and vision. I am confident that the TRIB3 experience in the ‘fitness metaverse’ will be literally out of this world. Over the next 18 months, TRIB3 and OliveX will work together to launch the world’s first metaverse gym. Andy Hall added: “Launching into the ‘fitness metaverse’ isn’t a PR stunt. It’s not a flash in the pan. We have the ability to drive serious revenue for our partner brands. We can also motivate more people to get active, change habits, and ultimately improve their overall health.
