US franchisor Minuteman Press has UK footprint grown with 10

We know American franchisors have a keen interest in the UK, with the likes of UFC and Seniors Helping Seniors being just a couple of the most recent US franchises to have entered Britain. And as the move across the pond seems to generally be a good fit, Minuteman Press, the American printing franchise, has just had its operation receive fresh backing on these shores.

Following the launch of their”Minuteman Press franchise in the UK back in 2004, husband and wife franchisees Keith and Paula Boyce realised in 2017 they needed more space in order to double the size of the business over three years. As such, the wheels are now in motion to make that a reality with the opening of a new 10,000 square foot facility in Kings Lynn.

Generating business from online and offline marketing, networking and referrals, the Boyces hope to scale their operation with a wider range of promotional products, which will be supported with the acquisition of an apparel company – a deal set for completion in the next six months. It marks the second takeover of its kind, with one taking place last year. Keith Boyce added that maintaining their solid reputation will be paramount, as will investment in technologies such as automation.

“Keith and Paula Boyce have built a tremendous presence in Kings Lynn and I congratulate them on their move to their incredible new building in Campbells Meadow,” said Mark Jones, UK south area manager for Minuteman Press International. “They’ve worked hard, followed the Minuteman Press franchise business model and have really taken to heart the idea of providing the highest levels of quality and customer service.”

This just goes to show the benefits that looking overseas for business prospects can have – it certainly seems to be the case that international can open a world of opportunities in the franchise space.” width=
