On Thursday, March 16th, franchise industry leaders convened at The Tower Hotel, London for the dazzling Elite Franchise Top 100 (EF100) awards gala. In its seventh year, the EF100, in association with HSBC, honours the best and brightest in the UK’s franchise industry, ranging from established powerhouses to ground-breaking newcomers.
The prestigious EF100 ranking is based on eight key criteria, such as support for franchisees, market positioning, and growth projections for the coming fiscal year. This year’s entrants were also assessed on their strategies for overcoming economic turbulence and lingering effects of the pandemic.
Snap-on Tools triumphed, securing the top position and making it the sixth consecutive year the franchise has ranked in the top 10. National Franchise Manager Lisa Law said, “We’re incredibly proud of our team and franchisees who have made this win possible. The dedication to selling, fantastic customer relationship skills and genuine self-motivation our franchisees possess are what sets them apart.”
The event also recognised several exceptional franchises with specific awards. Right at Home received the HSBC Exceptional Performance Award, Driver Hire won Franchisor of the Year, Dream Doors won the Innovation of the Year Award, sponsored by BusinessesForSale.com, and Pass the Keys earned the Emerging Franchisor of the Year title.
“This year, franchises were evaluated on their ability to proactively tackle current issues. From hundreds of entries, the list showcases franchises that have continued to provide exemplary services or products alongside substantial support to their networks of franchisees. The franchises on this list have truly impressed us with their innovative ideas and positive mindsets – they deserve huge congratulations.”
