Home Instead joins forces with major UK pharmacy brand

Leading home care franchise endorsed by Boots‘ Health Hub

Following hot on the heels of their landmark collaboration with banking giants Barclays, the leading care franchise Home Instead has now gone into partnership with well-known pharmacy Boots PLC.

By joining forces with one of the best known brands on the high street, Home Instead becomes the first home care company to be promoted and publicised on the popular BootsHealth Hub.

The Health Hub is a comprehensive listing of local services, including Boots‘ own products, along with NHS information. And now Boots‘ customers can access the Home Instead website via this informative hub.

According to one senior official at Home Instead, this recent announcement will help to increase people’s awareness and understanding of the main benefits of home care.

Sarah Williamson, Head of Corporate Sales and Partnerships, said: “Boots is such a trusted brand and this hub is somewhere people turn to for advice. As such, we are delighted to be working with them on this exciting initiative.

“It is another opportunity for us to raise awareness about ageing, and therefore bring peace of mind by making it easy to find quality home care. I am sure the Health Hub will be an invaluable asset for people across the UK.

“Anyone who clicks the Home Instead icon, on the Boots‘ Health Hub, will be able to check out our range of home care services provided across the UK. Our focus is to help our ageing population to have both the choice and ability to remain safe and well in their own homes.

“This partnership joins a long line of quality connections that we at Home Instead have made over the past few years. It will boost brand awareness and, in the home care sector, Home Instead is fast becoming the go-to name. This latest partnership will promote our franchise partners at a local level.”

Among those connections is the deal signed with Barclays Bank, which aims to educate both its caregivers and clients about the benefits of using digital technology.

Earlier this year, Home Instead sponsored two well-known and popular ITV programs featuring gardening expert and broadcaster Alan Titchmarsh.

Tom McKay, Head of Health Hub and Online Doctor at Boots UK, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Home Instead to our Heath Hub. The tailored approach to the services they provide is the key for those receiving care. It allows people to live the way they want to. This partnership is another step towards our ambition of supporting customers, whatever their healthcare needs may be. Boots, supported by our Health Hub partners, are uniquely positioned to help the nation get better and stay well.”
