From Franchisee to Influencer

There are many considerations to consider when looking for your perfect franchisee. Business sense, drive, the desire to work to a franchise system as opposed to going rogue.

One thing that may not be front of mind is, could they be an influencer for the brand?

What separates us mere mortals from influencers is, for the most part, the ability to produce and post episodic content. Increasingly, video content.

Many founders do not post video content because they are camera shy or just don’t like being ‘out there’ on social. This is a shame, because it’s missing a great opportunity, but understandable. It’s not for everyone.

However, finding a franchisee who loves the idea of being a social superstar is a win for them and for you.  Video content is so simple to produce now that anyone can post regular videos on social media, websites or for ppc campaigns. So, what should you be looking for from existing or new franchisees?

Do they have a charisma about them, are you interested in what they have to say, enthusiastic? Most of all, do they produce social videos already or love the idea of being a social star?

As the importance of our digital presence increases, now could be the time to find your in-house superstars to promote the brand and their business. Perhaps when you are evaluating possible franchisees, the desire to make regular videos could be another consideration to add to the mix.
